Just A Thought...

Been bored and been reading news all over...
But what caught my attention was the issue of US calling for sactions on Iran for its yet-to-be-confirmed nuclear weapons ambitions...

Which brings me to a parallel between the actions on Iraq and Iran...

US Pre-emptive Military Action...

US Military action on Iraq has been purportedly on the assumptions of WMD being stored, created and collected by the past Saddam Hussein regime and thus the unilateral action of the US in the ideological pretext of the need to maintain lasting peace for the free world...
Hmmm... their initial goal was then to get rid of WMDs, which ironically eventually leads to regime change and a whole lot of political play of the US; to create democracy in the middle east and pave a way for exemplary conduct of governance for the middle eastern countries...
and also unilateral actions on the economic developments of Iraq way before the government of Iraq is properly established...
The link below gives a sound picture of the economic changes that was underway even before Iraq reached political stability and have full autonomy in deciding what is best for the people themselves, in terms of economic development and resource management...
The US gave themselves legitimacy in the management of the resources of another country by their own pre-emptive actions...

Now the attention is on Iran with US aggressively calling for economic sanctions on Iran purportedly due to Iran seeking nuclear weapons...

I refer this to

US Pre-emptive Political Action

A military strike cannot be an option (as yet) because it will definitely show the US as throwing its weight around blatantly... Furthermore, it is harder to definitlely pursue military action as Iran has functioning economic ties with China, Russia and countries of EU... so, the complications...
Iraq then has little economic relations and it was then under sanctions, pursuing military actions has less negating impacts on the US itself...

Thus we can see how aggressively the US spreads the notion that Iran is pursuing to produce nuclear arms... and basically any country that has yet to co-operate with the US as a regime-led country, which Iran has also been labelled as... which before has been fixed unto Iraq before the regime-change operation began...
Hmmm.... all rejections by the US of Iran's pursuit of nuclear technology is due to labelling by the US of Iran as a regime...
What about Saudi Arabia with its monarchy who has a tight grip on the do and dont of its people? Why not apply democracy too to the country if the US keep repeating rhetorics of democracy are the wants of the free world?

Thus the recent referral to the security council and the garning of the support from the major powers in EU in proposing economic sanctions... for the yet-to-be-confirmed highly played notion that Iran is having a nuclear arms programme on the way...
What about Israel with its policy of ambiguity to the question of it having nuclear arms? Furthermore, it is the only country in the middle east to have full-functioning nuclear power with its Dimora facility...
Does that mean it is the only country in the middle east legitimate to hold nuclear power? Talking about it being the only country with functioning nuclear technology in the middle east, it is also the only country in the middle east to have fully developed military... Hmmmm....
What about North Korea which is said to be closely monitored by the US on its nuclear programme? How is it that NK which is said to have close in to the stage of having nuclear arms but yet no talk of regime change or firm actions have been taken and definite actions underway?
Libya was applaused by the US ever since it dropped its nuclear ambitions...
but hasn't many countries in the EU been pursuing nuclear technology for the past years and decades even...
Let us make a transparent nuclear heads check on all the nuclear powered countries and have an enquiry on the existence of the heads if any... including Israel which ironically has been able to maintain a condition of ambiguity over its possesion of nuclear arms...
Iran has been adhering to the IAEA but pressures by the US has raised even more checks and inquires into its pursuit of nuclear technology... to the extent of cutting into the development of its programme...
Maybe next time all buildings of nuclear power stations by all countries and pursuit of additional nuclear technology by countries should be made transparent... not a one-sided affair...

Oh well, of what was said earlier...
If u refer to the article below, viewed in light of the article perspectives, a lot of things seem to add up... it's all about oil huh... The world cant live without oil... and the middle east supplies half of the world resources...

Oh well... politics is confusing... it needs a critical mind to fully evaluate from all sides of the coin... being the psychology major i am... oh well... not much practice in being fully aware and critical of the many implications of political affairs and history...
but I still believe my stand that...
We are in fact more capable than we all thought we are...
It depends on how much more capable you want to be...
The mind is a beauty, with capabilities beyond boundaries...
With the ability to develop as high and as wide as it can...
It depends on the heart and will of the person to develop it...
The crucial factor?
The realisation...
Tho of course taking into consideration nature nurture factors... we cant deny those more intelligent and sharper than us... but the thing is... know that we can be better than what we limit ourselves to be...
